Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching, born March 28, 1977 was an American actor best famous for her performance in 24 and the voice acting that she provided for Tess in the video game The Last of Us. Wersching was raised in St. Louis. She was a graduate of Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in the year 1995. When she was a teenager she competed as an Irish dancer and part of the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she graduated in 1999. Wersching began her acting career by appearing as an actress on Star Trek: Enterprise. She continued to be a guest star on shows such as Charmed, Killer Instinct and Supernatural. From March 2007 until November 2007 she was playing the role of Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap series General Hospital. In addition, she has worked in theaters , including Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire, and the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching was FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After her two-season time in 24 Wersching played guest roles on a variety of shows which included CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles, Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which also features the co-star of 24 Kiefer Sutherland). She also appeared as a series regular on Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching played catcher for the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game and 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends. Wersching also voiced the role in the role of Tess in The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. Geoff Keighley teased her character on Twitter, before she was announced in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7th December 7, 2012. Wersching was set to take on the part of the Borg Queen on Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
